Customer Support & Hardware Operations Agent Dublin

Role: Pointy Customer Support & Hardware Operations Agent
Location: Dublin, Barrow Street
Duration: 11 months

NOTE: Preferred working hours: 1pm – 9pm Monday to Friday.

The Role: Pointy Support & Operations is looking for someone to help us manage our expanding merchant base. Our promise to merchants is we do all the work, so the right person for this role is someone who is prepared to go the extra mile for our customers. Alongside providing support to our customers our team is also responsible for the day-to-day fulfilment of orders from our office in Dublin City Centre. We are a small but dynamic team, and so we need someone who is comfortable working in changing environments, often on a number of different projects at any given time.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver top class frontline support to merchants using Pointy from our service.
  • Shipping of devices and accessories to customers and partners.
  • Updating stock levels, receiving & ordering stock as required
  • A combination of Inbound and outbound support for retailers (emails, web chat and calls)
  • Troubleshooting service issues (Pointy Service, See Whats In Store, Pointys Adwords Integration)
  • Delivery issues with Pointy device
  • Interacting with multiple programs to deliver timely resolutions for retailers
  • Owning discrete projects and tasks within the team


  • Bachelors degree or relevant practical experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of Customer Support experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with manual handling
  • Effective written and verbal communication is a must.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office
  • Comfortable with working as part of a team as well as on ones own initiative.
  • Determination, grit and a hard-working, positive attitude.
  • Organization, attention to detail and an ability to strictly adhere to processes.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to constructively and continuously identify and implement improvements.
