Our client provides compliance management software that enables companies around the world to reduce their risk of misconduct. They are the leading conduct risk platform in the world for capital markets firms or divisions in large financial services firms.  

This role is within IT & Security, a small team of experienced professionals. You will play a central role in the maintenance and continuous improvement of IT & security operations required to support the business and maintain ISO certification.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintenance of systems.
  • Incident management and issue resolution.
  • Support the objectives of the ISMS.
  • Monitor SIEM and other logs to identify opportunities to improve security posture.
  • Monitor and report on the health and performance of security systems.
  • Develop and improve reporting and KPIs.
  • Adhere to and improve processes.
  • Produce and maintain documentation.
  • Promote security education, training, and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Participate in cyber security / data protection projects.
  • Work closely with multiple teams in the business to maintain & improve security.
  • Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards.
  • Work with the rest of the team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in customer audits / respond to due diligence requests.

Requirements

  • Working experience in IT support / operations and information security.
  • 2 3 Years experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with event log correlation / SIEM.
  • ISO 27001 audits.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and GPOs.
  • Linux (Red Hat / Oracle) and apache.
  • Firewalls Palo Alto / Sophos / pfSense.
  • Office 365 administration and security.
  • Sophos Endpoint Protection.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals.
  • ITIL / ISO 20000.
  • Working experience in IT support / operations and information security.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Knowledge of legislation (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
